Maya Baldwin (Agnes Hutchinson)Most recently seen in the Monster Literature series, also written by Daniel John Kelley, at the Brooklyn Lyceum. Other credits: A Shayna Maidel North Coast Repertory Theatre; Merry Wives of Windsor, Coriolanus, Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth Shakespeare Santa Cruz and a lovely tour across the US in a series of shows for the Traveling Lantern Theater Company. Maya has trained with the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and is happy to use this show to employ her vast experience with talking to inanimate objects.

Jessica Love (The Dryer)Jessica has appeared in the world premiers of Rogelio Martinez's, When Tang Met Laika (The Denver Center), Kay Maschulat's (The Redbull Theater), Don't Fuck With Love, and Adam Symkowitz's, Incendiary (The Juilliard School). Jessica graduated last year from Juilliard's acting program. Jessica is also an illustrator and animator. Jess lives in Brooklyn with Sarah and Karla (people), Dynamite (dog) and Lance (cat). www. Zack Palomo (Bobson Bennington)Zack’s acting debut was a national commercial for IBM’s Smarter Planet campaign, premiering at the 2009 Super Bowl games. He currently attends school at MS 51 and has recently become a member of the Piper Theater Workshop in Park Slope. Zack is very excited to take part in this production and has had the best summer ever working with this team. On his down time, Zack plays on a baseball league, plays Green Day songs on his guitar and hangs out with his cousin, Jagger. Zack lives in Brooklyn with his mom & dad and a variety of pets.

Rory Sheridan (Harold Hutchinson)-Recent credits include Hamlet (WhyNot Theatre; Toronto, Canada), Death of Nations (International Wow; Dusseldorf, Germany), Conquest of the Universe (Here Arts Center), Othello (Dreamscape Theatre), and Bunnies: Part I (Breedingground). Training: Stella Adler Conservatory, Experimental Theatre Wing, and Commedia Del Arte in Florence, Italy. Rory would like to thank Winston Pebb and Carla Corvo for their tenacity and spunk.

Tavia Trepte (Bettina Bennington)After growing up in CA, Tavia came to NYC to attend Barnard College. Initially she worked as a modern dancer and participated in the downtown visual arts scene until she attended Sarah Lawrence College and received two MFAs (Dance & Theater). Since that time she has worked in numerous independent films and off-off Broadway productions while continuing to train at William Esper Studio, Upright Citizen’s Brigade, and Labyrinth Theatre. She is thrilled to be working on this original production and participating in the NYC Fringe for the first time.

 

Creative Team

Kate Dial (Stage Manager)Kate Dial is a native Floridian and B.F.A. student at Brooklyn College, graduating this Fall with a specialty in stage management. As a stage manager, she is a two time Kennedy Center nominee for her works at Florida State College. This year she received the Rebecca Cunningham and Jack Hilton Award in Technical Theater for her work at Brooklyn College and was selected to ASM for the Sundance Theater Lab at Governors Island. She would like to thank Robert Cohen, Kip Marsh, and David Benfield for all their support and guidance this year, also Emily and Daniel for giving her the opportunity to work on such a beautiful play.

Daniel John Kelley (Playwright/Producer)- As a playwright, his plays have been produced in NYC by The Mirror Repertory Company,  Mainspring Collective, The Gallery Players, The American Globe Theatre and The New York Theatre Experiment, in addition to several self produced ventures. He has also had several plays performed in Dublin, Ireland by the Painted Filly Theatre, as well as productions in Nepal, Australia, and far away Pennsylvania. Daniel is the creator of the children’s theatre series Monster Literature, produced by Mainspring Collective


Emily Plumb (Playwright/Director)- Emily Plumb is a Brooklyn based theatre director who has directed shows at the HERE Arts Living Room Festival, The Looking Glass Theatre, and the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Emily has worked as a dramaturg for the Moving Theatre Company, and her academic works on Dance has been published by Dance Research Journal.

Nick Moore (Composer/Sound Designer)- Nick's work includes: Off-Broadway: Expatriate - Culture Project; Crazy for the Dog - Jean Cocteau Rep;Defenses of Prague - La Mama,  Off-off-b-way: ten Resonance Ensemble productions, including Chris Boals’ 23 Knives (Sound & Music IT Award nominee), Authur Girion's The Coffee Trees & Charles Mee's Mail Order Bride; eleven MCTC productions, including Peace (IT award nominee, Best Musical).  Dance: Illuminate & Out of Water, Film: Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker’s winner Being Reel.  Recent Productions: Equity reading of  Plagued! Or How to Survive at the Hands of Angry Mob the Musical, Book and Lyrics by Daniel John Kelley. Member: Dramatists Guild; Artistic Associate: Resonance Ensemble.


Christopher Weston (Lighting Design)-  Regional productions include ProofHaving Our Say, and The Color of Flesh.  International: T.E.L.O.S.(European Biennial in Athens, Greece). New York theaters include the Kitchen, John Houseman, Tribeca Performing Arts Center, 59E59, 45th Street Theatre, Queens Theatre in the Park, Cherry Lane, Lamb’s Theatre, Barrow Group, Center Stage/New York, Theatre for the New City, HERE Arts Center, Raw Space, Connelly Theatre, Access Theatre, Mazer Theatre, Bank Street Theatre and the Old American Can Factory.  He was recently nominated for an IT Award for Outstanding Lighting Design for The Return of Peter Grimm at Metropolitan Playhouse.

Jesse Proia (Set Design)Jesse Proia is a Brooklyn based multimedia artist and designer. He is a member of the BFFAEAETDDUP collective and the Circus Amok design team. Recent shows include; Symbols & Context, VT Sync Swim, Black Girl Ugly and Cracked Ice or Jewels of the Forbidden Skates. Jesse worked closely with the amazing assistance of Lynn Hunter on this project.

Kate Mincer (Costume Design)- Kate recently designed costumes for the new comedy “Ching Chong Chinaman” with the Pan Asian Rep. Additional NY credits include the new Web Series “Blood Light;” “The Klezmer Nutcracker;” “Zanna, Don’t!;” and “Anna’s Perfect Party.” Other costume designs include “The Cure at Troy” (Winner: Best Costume Design in KC 2008, KC Pitch); “Cloud 9;” and “A Lesson From Aloes.” Kate has also assisted the Costume Department for “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” and the upcoming motion picture “Salt.”


Hilary Krishnan (Co-Producer)- Hilary is Artistic Director of Mainspring Collective, a company dedicated to the development of new plays. She received her B.A. from Indiana University and has since worked in the theater –as a director, producer and production manager –both regionally and in New York. She produces the ongoing children’s theater series in Brooklyn, Monster Literature. Recent New York directing credits include: Legends, Myths and Hieroglyphs (Mainspring Collective), (W)hole (Asst. Dir., Playwrights Horizons), Dream of Me (Mainspring Collective).
